Images of text can cause issues for our visually-impaired users for a few reasons. For low vision or color blind users, text in images can not be enlarged nor can the contrast be modified. Because of that it can be a lot more difficult for these users to read it. For our blind users images of text can not provide structural information. For example if it is used as a title the user will not be aware of this because it can not be implemented as a heading. For these reasons images of text should only be used when required.
